Big Discovery Weekend.....

So this thing moves.....

On Friday night after his bath Hatcher started a chain of events that led to the big discovery weekend. He started by kicking his feet straight up in the air which led to the discovery of his feet and with the discovery of his feet he gained the momentum he needed to roll from his back to his tummy. On Saturday Hatcher also discovered that his walker had a purpose other than making noises, he pushed it from the living room to the kitchen a couple of times while I was doing dishes and he managed to do this all while suffering through his very first cold.

Visitors.....

My dad and Debbie had to make a second visit after getting snowed in during their winter visit. This time they were able to bring Mary Jo.




Rachel and Emily came by to see Hatcher after babysitting our neighbors (their nephews).

I'm giving this post a second try after the first attempt was lost to the internet. Hatcher has had several visitors lately that we didn't want to leave out of the blog despite my frustration of having to do a double post.

Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.....

My favorite lunch stops continue to get the royal treatment, as Guy Fieri stopped in to film a segment for Diners, Drive-ins and Dives at Martin's BBQ Joint yesterday. My friend Rob continues to direct our lunch crew in all the right direction and introduce us to all the right people. I met Pat Martin about two years ago when he was running his BBQ Joint in a shack attached to an auto repair shop. Now Pat has moved down the road a little but he continues to garner local and national praise. Therefore I was all too happy to oblige when he invited us out to a closed door filming of the show yesterday. I had this shot snapped with Guy after we had a short battle for the "over the shoulder" positioning. As the menu says, "This ain't no dress rehearsal, We are professionals, and this is the BIG time!"-Waylon Jennings

Hatcher didn't do much in the way of picking up eggs but he held on to his Easter basket the entire hunt.


Thomas and Uncle Mark didn't forget Hatcher when they were dying eggs.




We hosted Easter Lunch at our house for the first time this year.


We were excited to use our wedding China for the first time.
