I so much enjoyed working with Emily, her sister, and new mother-in-law on the flower arrangments and bouquets. I truly could play with flowers all day...they make my soul happy
We have been together most of our lives and were married in 2006. We are best friends. We love food, photography, music, the Yankees, traveling, working on our house, and lazy Sunday afternoons in our pajamas. We have had many blessings and surprises in the last few years.
We were lucky enough to build our first home...a cottage-like farmhouse. We built it on the principle of "living simply" and divided the growth of our home into phases as need and money allows and plan to share our future home projects and endeavors with you.
However, most of our time is devoted to one grand project, our beautiful son. With his birth our lives forever changed and we experienced what true unconditional love really means. Our first year of parenthood has been a journey and everyday is a learning and growing experience. Our son is the most precious thing in our lives and most of this blog is devoted to him and his adventures.
Our family is not anything extraordinary but our life together is wonderfully messy, busy, loud, complicated, beautiful, and love-filled. We are thankful for what we have and the times we share together and want to share those moments with others we love. We hope you enjoy.
