My big sis turned the big 30 this past week and we took the opportunity to take some family pics (big brother is missing due to the fact he lives on the other side of the country). Growing up, my sister had the misfortune of a summer birthday which always seemed to fall the same week as our family vacation....so to appease her we would have to eat at McDonald's (which I hate) but that was the rule...the birthday girl gets to eat what she wants...Needless to say, we missed trying some really great restaurants in many Southern towns. Now that we are older, it is nice to have family dinners at home....like the great steak dinner we had tonight. Happy Birthday Sister!
